our values

Technological progress, social media and an ever faster way of communication have made many things easier but increasingly produce an overflow of information. This information overload increasingly inhibits personal interaction and actual, true exchange among humans. This process has also caused a change in our values and moral system. We find that simple concepts such as honesty, loyalty, decency, diligence and humility, both in business and in private life are becoming less and less important. As halbersbacher, we would like to oppose this trend, by, among others, defining four core company values and our understanding thereof. We conduct our daily work according to these principles.
We considers ourselves to be honest merchants (ehrbare Kaufleute) such that the spoken word combined with a handshake mean as much as a signed contract. We sign contracts of which both parties will benefit in the long term – no other contract is quite literally useful. Accordingly, our values constitute a fundamental part of our corporate philosophy and our guests, business partners and of course our employees among themselves can and should hold us to the standard that comes along with those values. Not least because of this claim, we display these values prominently in the lobbies of each of our hotels. If you ever have the feeling that some part of or your experience with the halbersbacher privathotels did not adhere to these values, we encourage you to share these deviations with us. In this case, we will guarantee a personal response from one of our managing directors.

honesty.

we do not need to say everything that is true, but everything that we do say is true.

heartiness.

our passion for genuine service – both external and internal – is the foundation of our daily actions.

reliability.

we take for granted that our actions are binding. So can you.

fairness.

we strive to treat every human being respectfully and justly.
